Now Hiring - Registered Nurse (community health / peds)

Overview:The RN will be attending to patients that are seeing clinicians. Duties include medications, wound care, injections/vaccinations. There is a separate clinic where nurses have specific appointments such as blood pressure checks, removing sutures, follow up appointments with nurses, and pre-natal patients for education. Lastly, there are administrator tasks with clinician messages where they will help to do phone triage. This is a more consistent role with workflows seeing anywhere from 20-100 patients coming through the doors each day although this will see roughly 10 per day

Location: The nurses home site will be in Methuen but they will need to float to the Haverhill site if needed for coverage.

3-5 Must Have Skills/Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN License
• Current BLS Certification
• Bilingual Spanish
• Open to new grads IF they are bilingual but if they ARE NOT bilingual they will need 1+ years of community health experience and vaccination experience
• Must be comfortable using portable translator if not bilingual - mostly Spanish speaking population

Nice to Have Skills

• Athena EMR Experience
• Pediatric experience (especially vaccinating/immunizing pediatric population)

Schedule/Shift

• Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm (need to be able to stay until the last patient which can sometimes be 6:00pm)
